First, read this important safety information.

Note: Following a virtual hiker trail is not the same as following a groomed hiking trail. The virtual hiker trail defines a rugged overland trek that is assisted by a global positioning device. There may be 30 or more meters of error in the GPS track, which could position the human hiker in uncomfortable or unsafe terrain. Awareness of this margin of error and common sense are required to hike a virtual hiker trail. Do not enter terrain that you are uncomfortable with, and look for the walkable path within the vicinity of the virtual hiker path on your GPS device. It is there, and we were able to hike it without incident.
